Our Department

The section of Physical Education was established in the year 2006 in arts faculty of Khatra Adibasi Mahavidyalaya. In this field pupil have been getting ample opportunity to play various kind of games and sports (e.g. Foot Ball, Volley Ball, Badminton, cricket, kho-Kho, Kabaddi, etc.). Extramural and Intramural are very attractive event for the students and it is the core to search talent as well. Many students get selection in District and State level competition of different types of game.

The Department presently offers B.A. Pass (programme) course (under CBCS) at the undergraduate level.

Vision: To involve in continuous pursuit of Elegance in the promotion, promulgation, betterment and development of Physical Education & Sports through Innovative Programmes in Teaching-learning process & Coaching and to adopt a holistic approach for the improvement of Human Resources through Harmonious Development.

Mission: To ensure quality teaching - learning, to channelize the talent of the student to the proper direction, to motivate the students towards desirable goals, to ensure the input of sense of responsibility towards the society and the nation and to have a effective management of institution and education to serve the humanity.
