The Bizonomics Club is an initiative of the Economics and Commerce departments at Khatra Adibasi Mahavidyalaya that actively promotes student well-being through diverse, skill-building activities that foster intellectual growth, creativity, and community engagement. The Club organizes various activities such as Movie Screening, Quiz, Poster Presentation Competition etc. These activities spark enriched discussions, reinforced learning through prizes, and developed teamwork among the club members. Participants are awarded to encourage innovation. On the days of the events, students set up mini business stalls as a test of their entrepreneurial skills selling food items, jewellery items and greeting cards. Group coordination for events like movie screenings, poster presentation and stalls encourages teamwork and post-activity discussions, combating isolation and building community bonds among rural college students. Shared participation lowers stress and elevates mood via positive peer interactions. Organizing stalls tests entrepreneurial skills, boosting students' confidence and self-efficacy through hands-on sales experience, while events such as poster-making and quizzes enhance cognitive engagement and creative problem-solving. These reduce anxiety by providing tangible successes in a supportive academic environment. Awards for quizzes, posters, and stall performance deliver recognition, instilling purpose, and resilience, which directly counters mental health challenges like low motivation in higher education settings. Thus, the Bizonomics Club stands as a beacon of holistic student development at Khatra Adibasi Mahavidyalaya, nurturing mental well-being through entrepreneurial ventures, intellectual pursuits, and enduring community ties.
